Description
25 de Mayo is a farmstead that lies upon 17,000 hectares of countryside. This antique parish is located steps away from the center of El Calafate, making it an ideal place for you to rest and enjoy the landscape at the foot of El Calafate Hill. We proose you discover the rural side of Patagonia on this great pioneer ranch.
Afternoon in the field:
- Stove-fried cakes and coffee to go. (Yerba and hot water available)
- Herding of sheep.
- Sheep pen work and shearing demonstration.
- Walk along the stream, observation of local flora.
- Montañes wine at Arroyo viewpoint with confit lamb tasting.
- Screening of video recognition of pioneer families
“El Quincho” Show dinner:
- Welcome drink.
- Country bread, dips and Creole empanada
- Grilled lamb, chicken, beef, chorizo, blood sausage.
- Rustic potatoes and a garden salad.
- Dessert of your choice and Mineral water.
Initiation to Horseback:
- Riding duration 45 minutes. Short ride around the main houses of the ranch.
