CHALTÉN KAYAK

Description

The experience starts at the Comarka Rafting & Kayak base on Av. San Martín 872, El Chaltén, where guides provide participants with technical and safety gear along with an introduction to its use.

After gearing up, the group travels 21 km along RP 41 toward Lago del Desierto. Upon arrival at the starting point (Mirador Laguna Condor), participants finalize their outfit (jacket, vest, helmet) and, after a technical and safety briefing, begin paddling from the right shore of Laguna Condor.

This section of the river is shallow and winding. Covering approximately 12 km, the journey takes 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on water flow and wind conditions, ending at Estancia Bonanza. Here, participants can change and enjoy an optional delicious lunch. After lunch, a transfer will return the group to El Chaltén around 15:00.

If participants choose not to have lunch, a transfer will return them directly to town.
