Departing from Puerto Pañuelo, located on the stunning Llao Llao Peninsula, the trip begins with a one-hour navigation to the Quetrihue Peninsula, situated in the northeast of Nahuel Huapi Lake. This is where you'll find the legendary Arrayanes Forest.
The arrayán (known as “quetrihue” in the Mapuche language) is a shrub with exquisite saffron-colored bark and white flowers. Here, it grows into tree form, creating a magical and rare forest found nowhere else in the world.
After exploring this unparalleled setting, the journey continues by boat to Puerto Anchorena on Victoria Island. The island features a rich and visually captivating variety of flora.
Following its trails, you'll arrive at Playa del Toro, where you can view ancient cave paintings created by indigenous peoples, set against the backdrop of a splendid volcanic sand beach. It's an unforgettable experience!
